We’ve introduced Automation Folders to help you better organize and manage your automations. This new feature allows you to group related automations together so you can quickly find what you need and reduce clutter on your Automations page.
This article covers how to create folders, move automations into them, and edit or delete existing folders.
Viewing and Creating Folders
To view and create automation folders:
Navigate to the Workflows page (found in the main navigation menu).
On the left side of the page, you’ll see a new section titled "Folders."
By default, you’ll see a folder labeled Root Folder. This is a non-editable folder where all your existing automations will start.
To create a new folder, click on the "New Folder" button located just below the Root Folder.
A blank field will appear—enter your desired folder name, then click the green checkmark to save, or the “X” icon to cancel.
NOTE: Folder names must be unique. If you try to use a duplicate name, you’ll receive an error message.
Moving Automations into a Folder
To organize your automations:
On the Automations page, each automation row will now include a checkbox on the left.
Select one or more automations by checking their boxes.
Once selected, a "Move to" button will appear at the top right corner of the table.
Click "Move to," then select your desired folder from the dropdown list.
Your selected automations will be moved into that folder.
Editing or Deleting an Existing Folder
You can edit or delete any folders you've created (except for the Root Folder):
Editing a folder name:
Hover over the folder name and click the Edit (pencil) icon next to it. Type your updated folder name, then click the green checkmark to save or the “X” to cancel.Just like when creating folders, edited names must be unique.
Deleting a folder:
Hover over the folder name and click the Delete (trash) icon. A confirmation message will appear:"Are you sure you want to delete your folder? All automations will be moved to the Root Folder."
Click "Delete" to confirm or "Cancel" to keep the folder.
When a folder is deleted, all automations inside it will automatically be moved back into the Root Folder.
The Root Folder cannot be renamed or deleted.
Using Filters with Folders
Filters such as automation name or tags can be applied on the Automations page.
These filters will apply to the automations shown within your currently selected folder.
Filters will remain active as you switch between folders—making it easier to find exactly what you're looking for without reapplying filters each time.
