Introducing the New Lawmatics Navigation Experience

We’ve revamped the Lawmatics user interface to enhance usability and make navigating the platform more intuitive than ever. The most notable change is the shift from top navigation to a sleek side navigation bar, designed to provide quicker access to the pages and tools you use the most. Here's an overview of what’s changed and where you can find everything:

Key Navigation Changes

Matters and Pipeline Pages

  • The Matters page and the Pipeline page are now in the main side navigation. These are some of the most frequently used pages, and moving them ensures quicker and easier access.

New Automations Tab

  • A new Automations tab has been added to the side navigation. Here, you’ll find:

    • Workflows: Manage the custom workflow automations you’ve built out.

    • Reminders: Centralized onto their own dedicated page, reminders for appointments, events, forms, documents, and invoices are now easier to access and manage.

Updated Marketing Tab

  • The Marketing tab now consolidates everything you need to create and manage your marketing campaigns. Inside, you’ll find:

    • Email Templates: Access HTML and plain text email tools that you can use for campaigns or workflows.

    • Email Sends: Manage existing emails and see email statistics.

    • Audiences: Create and manage your audiences.

    • Campaign Management: Build and track campaigns.

    • Event Management: Access the event management page.

New People Tab

  • Below the Marketing tab, you’ll see the new People tab. This section includes:

    • Contacts: Manage your individual contacts.

    • Companies: Handle your company records.

    • Conflict Checking: Perform and manage conflict checks.

Updated Docs & Forms Tab

  • The new Docs & Forms tab is an evolution of the current “Assets” page. This update introduces sub-navigation for:

    • Document Templates: Manage your document templates.

    • E-Signature Sends: Track and manage your e-signature requests.

    • Custom Forms: Create and manage custom forms.

    • Booking Forms: Handle booking form templates and submissions.

    • File Request Templates: Manage templates for file requests.

    • File Request Sends: Track and manage sent file requests.

    • Firm Files: Access and manage files specific to your firm.

Reports Navigation

  • The Reports tab remains unchanged and includes:

    • Analytics

    • Custom Reports

    • ROI Tracker

Time & Billing Navigation

  • The Time & Billing section also stays the same and includes:

    • Time Entries

    • Expenses

    • Invoices

    • Trust Account

    • A/R Report

    • Hours Billed

    • Payment Activity

Calendar and Tasks Pages as Top-Level Navigation

  • The Calendar and Tasks pages are no longer sub-navigation items. They are now top-level navigation items for more direct access.

Additional Updates

Message Center

  • The Message Center has moved to the upper-right corner of the screen.

Improved Search Bar

  • The Search Bar is now more accessible, allowing you to find what you need with ease.
