Use the Run Once email campaign option for sending one-time "email blasts" such as newsletters, announcements, holiday greetings, or other timely messages. These campaigns can either be manually activated or scheduled to send automatically on a specific date and time.
Before You Begin
Before creating your campaign, ensure the following are set up:
β Email Template
Create a visually engaging email using an HTML email template. These allow for enhanced design elements compared to plain text emails.
β Audience List
Build an audience list to determine who will receive your email. Your list can be:
Broad (e.g., all contacts)
Highly filtered (e.g., based on specific CRM criteria)
Creating a "Run Once" Campaign
Navigate to the Marketing tab in the side navigation.
Select Campaigns.
Click + Add Campaign in the top right corner.
Youβll see a form containing the following fields:
π Campaign Setup Fields
Campaign Name β Name for internal reference.
Audience β Select the audience list you created.
Email Template β Choose the email you wish to send.
From Address β Select the firm email address the campaign will send from.
Attachments (Optional) β Include files if necessary.
Include Email Signature (Optional) β If using an HTML email template, leave this toggled off to avoid formatting issues.
Campaign Type β Choose Run Once.
Sending Options
At the bottom of the campaign setup screen, choose how you'd like the campaign to be sent:
β Manual Activation
Select Run Campaign: On Manual Activation.
After clicking Create, you must return later to manually activate the campaign when you're ready to send it.
π Schedule for a Specific Date
Choose Run Campaign: On Specific Date.
Use the calendar to select the date and time.
Click Create. The campaign will automatically send at the scheduled timeβno need to activate manually.
Viewing Campaign Stats
Once the email has been sent (manually or automatically), you can:
Return to the Campaigns page under Marketing.
Click on the campaign name.
View performance metrics, including opens, clicks, bounces, and delivery status.
FAQs
β Why donβt I see the email I want listed in the Email Template dropdown?
Make sure the email type matches your audience type:
If you selected a Contact audience, only Contact-type emails will appear.
If you selected a Matter audience, only Matter-type emails will appear.

β How can I verify the email was sent?
After activation (manual or scheduled), go to the campaign detail page:
A list of recipients will appear.
The Delivered column will show Yes for successfully delivered emails.
Any bounced emails will be marked accordingly.
