Analytics Page Summary

The Analytics page, located under the Reports tab in the left-side navigation, provides powerful insight into your Lawmatics data. This page includes a variety of built-in graphs and metrics to help you evaluate:

  • Conversion rates

  • Source and practice area performance

  • Appointment attendance

  • Matter volume trends

  • Sales team performance (if enabled)

Letโ€™s walk through each section of the Analytics page from top to bottom.

๐Ÿ“… Date Range

At the top right corner of the Analytics page, youโ€™ll find the date range selector.

You can choose from preset ranges like:

  • This Week

  • This Month

  • Last Month

  • All Time

Or click Custom to select a specific start and end date.

๐Ÿง  The selected date range applies to all graphs on the page and filters data based on the matter creation date.

This section provides a quick summary of key lead metrics within the selected date range:

Use this section to assess overall intake performance and ROI.

๐ŸŽฏ New Lead/Client Goals

You can set custom goals for new leads and hired clients.

  • Click the gear icon beside each graph to enter your target numbers.

  • The graph will show your progress toward each goal in real-time.

This chart breaks down matter performance by source, with color-coded bars:

  • ๐ŸŸฉ Hired

  • ๐Ÿ”ต PNC

  • ๐Ÿ”ด Lost

Additional Options:

  • Click "View by" (left side) to toggle between Source and Practice Area.

  • Use the Overview / Percentage Rate toggle (top center) for different views.

๐Ÿ“Š These insights help you determine which sources and practice areas are performing best based on volume and conversion rate.

๐Ÿ“† Matter Volume Over Time

This graph shows the number of matters created across time intervals.

  • View by Matter (all new leads) or Client (converted only)

  • Time intervals adjust based on the selected date range:

    • Monthly view for shorter ranges

    • Yearly view for broader ranges (e.g., All Time)

๐Ÿง  Use this graph to identify intake trends by season, month, or year.

๐Ÿ“… Appointment Stats

Track appointment attendance across different appointment types.

  • Use the dropdown on the left to select an appointment type.

  • Hover over the graph for a breakdown of:

    • Total appointments

    • Shows

    • No-shows

โœ… Make sure you're marking no-show appointments in Lawmatics to ensure accurate stats.

๐Ÿ’ผ Sales Stats (Optional)

This section appears only if the Sales Team feature is enabled in your Firm Settings.

Sales Team Setup:

  • Assign a Salesperson to each matter using the Salesperson field.

  • View performance metrics for each assigned user.

The graph will display:

  • Salespeople across the X-axis

  • Number of matters assigned on the Y-axis

  • Statuses color-coded (e.g., Hired, PNC, Lost)

  • You can adjust:

    • The date range

๐Ÿ“… Can I filter this page by conversion date?

No. The Analytics page only filters data based on the matter creation date.

To filter by conversion or other date fields, use the Custom Reports feature.


๐Ÿ“ค Can these graphs be exported?

  • The Analytics page cannot be exported to Excel.

  • You can print or save the page using your browserโ€™s File > Print options.

  • Custom reports can be exported to Excel.
