Our Google Ads integration is designed to automatically import your marketing spend and campaign data from Google Ads, logging these respectively in your Lawmatics marketing sources and campaigns. Syncing your Google Ads account with Lawmatics is simple, we'll walk through the steps here:
First, head to the Integrations page in your Lawmatics Admin settings. Here you will see Google Ads listed as an available integration, click on it and you will then see the screen shown below. Click the button on the right to Connect Google Ads.
You will then be prompted to sign in to your Google account and authenticate the integration. Once you have gone through these steps, you will see that the integration appears as connected on your Lawmatics integrations page, as shown below.
Now that your Google Ads account is connected, Lawmatics will automatically pull a list of your Ad Campaign Accounts and Sub-Accounts. You'll choose which campaigns you'd like to sync, and when you select "Sync Campaigns," Lawmatics will create a new Source with Campaigns in your Marketing Settings.
Lawmatics will automatically pull in the amount of money spent on marketing sources and campaigns from Google Ads, and log them on the corresponding campaigns in your Lawmatics marketing settings. This is a one-way sync, pulling data from Google Ads to Lawmatics rather than the other way around.
Tracking marketing spend is important to do so that Lawmatics can give you accurate reporting on your ROI and help you make informed decisions for the future of your firm's marketing.
This integration allows you to make the most of our built-in source reporting and ROI tracking like never before by syncing your Google Ads data into the CRM automatically.
Should you ever need to disconnect or reconnect this integration for any reason, the spend data pulled in from this integration will not be removed from your Lawmatics account.
Syncing Google Local Services Ads (LSA) Leads
If you are running a Google LSA campaign, you now have the option to sync LSA leads directly into Lawmatics.
Here’s how it works:
When Lawmatics detects that a connected Google Ads account is running an LSA campaign, you'll see an option to enable LSA lead syncing.
You’ll be able to choose which types of LSA leads you want to sync (e.g., messages, bookings, phone calls).
Once enabled, Lawmatics will sync new LSA leads every hour.
Each new lead will be automatically assigned the correct marketing source and campaign inside Lawmatics based on its origin.
Attribution Behavior
If an incoming LSA lead is attached to an existing matter, Lawmatics will preserve the matter’s original marketing source/campaign attribution instead of overwriting it with the LSA source.
NOTE: If you are already using CallRail or another call tracking integration to sync LSA phone leads, we generally recommend avoiding duplicate syncing across multiple systems simultaneously, as this can create overlapping activity or duplicate records depending on configuration.
How Existing Matters Are Matched
When syncing LSA leads, Lawmatics will attempt to match incoming leads to existing contacts and matters before creating new records.
To help reduce duplicate matter creation:
Lawmatics recognizes phone numbers across different formats (ex:
(407) 555-1234vs+14075551234)Existing matters tied to the same contact may be matched for up to 2 weeks prior to the incoming LSA call/activity
If multiple matching matters exist, Lawmatics will prioritize the most recently updated matter
If no matching matter is found, a new matter will be created automatically.
To enable Lead Syncing for LSA:
Go to Settings > Integrations and click on the connected Google Ads account.
If eligible, you’ll see an option to Enable LSA Lead Syncing.
Select the lead types you want to sync.
Save your settings.
Once enabled, LSA leads will begin appearing in your CRM automatically, giving you a complete picture of your marketing impact.
