Sending Offline Conversions to Google Ads
Updated over 2 weeks ago

With Lawmatics, you can send offline conversions back to Google Ads to improve your campaign tracking and optimization. To set this up, follow the steps below.

Prerequisites

Before sending offline conversions, ensure you have the following set up:

  • Google Ads Integration: Your Google Ads account must be connected to Lawmatics.

  • UTM Values Assigned: Your Google Ads campaigns must have UTM values assigned in Lawmatics.

  • Lawmatics Tracking Snippet: A Lawmatics tracking snippet must be added to the header of your website.

  • Lawmatics Form on Your Website: Your website must have a Lawmatics form embedded to capture leads.

If a lead comes in from one of your Google Ads campaigns, Lawmatics will automatically capture the GClid (Google Click Identifier) for campaign tracking, provided one is available.

Viewing a Matter's GClid Value

You can view a matter’s GClid value by creating a Matter Custom Report in Lawmatics and adding the GClid column.

Sending Offline Conversions to Google Ads via Zapier

To send offline conversions to Google Ads, you will need to use Zapier to automate the process:

  1. Create a Zap in Zapier.

  2. Use a Lawmatics Trigger: Choose a relevant trigger event in Lawmatics, such as a status change or form submission.

  3. Connect to a Google Ads Action: Set up an action to create an offline conversion in Google Ads.

  4. Use the GClid Value: Map the GClid value from Lawmatics to the appropriate field in Google Ads to associate the conversion with the correct campaign.

  5. Test and Activate: Run a test to confirm data is being sent correctly, then activate the Zap.

By leveraging this integration, you can enhance your campaign reporting and improve the accuracy of your conversion tracking in Google Ads.
