Round Robin Updates

We've improved our round-robin scheduling feature to ensure appointments are distributed more evenly among your users, by selecting the user with the fewest scheduled appointments of that type. To learn more about how round-robin scheduling works, you can find our help article here.

Automation Update: Default to Non-Billable Time Entries

We've added a new field to the "Change Attributes" automation action: "Default to non-billable time entries." This feature allows you to automatically default a matter's time entries as non-billable when using the Change Attributes action item, saving you time and ensuring accuracy in your billing processes.

MMS

Lawmatics now offers the option for your clients to send MMS messages for an additional monthly cost. Any MMS received will be uploaded to the matter’s "Files" tab and appear in the SMS thread. To learn more, check out our MMS help article.

Bug Fixes

  • When an appointment had multiple hosts, it wasn’t correctly using the main host in reports, for email sends, or in merge fields. This issue has been resolved.

Bug Fixes

  • The Kanban view for tasks was taking a long time to load. This issue has been resolved.

  • When a round-robin pool was assigned to a form but had no users, the form displayed "Invalid ID." This issue has been resolved.

  • In the Quick Add menu, hovering over a quick-use form name would cause the pop-up to close. This issue has been resolved.

Import UTM values from Google Ads Integration

Lawmatics now imports UTM values from your Google Ad campaigns, giving you better insight into where your leads are coming from. These values help you track the effectiveness of your marketing efforts directly within Lawmatics.

Track GClid for Offline Conversions

If your firm has their Google AdWords integration connected to Lawmatics and a GClid (Google Click ID) is present, we’ll now track it as well. This allows for more precise attribution of leads back to specific Google Ads, helping you measure campaign performance more effectively.

Bug Fixes

  • Users were not able to create a new contact type from the create new contact layer. This issue has been resolved.

Bug Fixes

  • Firms were not seeing when they reached their monthly SMS limit. This issue has been fixed.

  • When connecting Lawmatics to third-party integrations like Zapier, users were not being redirected back to the integration page after trying to authenticate Lawmatics. This issue has been fixed.

  • Firms were unable to connect their OneDrive account to Lawmatics. This issue has been fixed.

Remove Duration From Flat Fee Invoice PDFs

Firms using flat fees can now choose to hide the "Duration" column on invoice PDFs entirely.

  • There was an issue where report subscriptions were not being sent out at the scheduled time. This issue has been fixed.

Disable Mail Sync Per Matter

Users can now disable mail sync on a per-matter basis. Simply navigate to the matter details page, click the three dots in the top-left corner, and select "Disable Mail Sync." This option is also available in the "Change Attributes" action within automations.

This feature is perfect for users who want to stop syncing emails to a matter’s activity timeline, such as after the matter has been converted to "Hired."

Add Deadline Time to E-signature Documents

You can now set a specific time for e-signature expirations, in addition to selecting a date. The expiration time is based on your firm's timezone, giving you greater control over document deadlines.

Limit Payment Types on Trust Fund Requests

Time & Billing users can now specify allowed payment types for trust fund requests. Choose to accept payments via ACH, credit/debit card, or both, offering more flexibility for your clients.

Bug Fixes

  • Previously, required company fields were not displaying an asterisk (*) to indicate they were mandatory. This issue has been fixed.
