A new checkbox option is available to automatically attach user's signatures to emails sent from confirmations, reminders, and other email types throughout Lawmatics. When enabled, the system will recognize the user the email is sending from and automatically insert their signature into the email, removing the need to manually add signatures each time.

You can now select which folder your email belongs in directly while creating or editing the email, rather than having to assign it separately from the Emails table. This makes organizing and managing your emails faster and easier.

We've introduced a new setting called "Maximum Gap Enabled" for firms utilizing the "Any Host Available" booking feature. When enabled, this option ensures fairer appointment distribution by temporarily removing a host from the booking form if they have three more scheduled appointments than other available hosts. Once other hosts have caught up, the temporarily removed host will become available again.

We've improved appointment scheduling for scenarios with multiple hosts on a booking form using the setting of "any host available." Now, when hosts have overlapping availability, the system will automatically select the host with the fewest scheduled appointments of that type per form. This ensures appointments are evenly and fairly distributed among your hosts.

Previously, reminders could be created individually from their respective pages, such as within documents, forms, or settings. To streamline your workflow and improve consistency, we've migrated all reminder functionality to the dedicated Reminders page. You will no longer see reminder options on individual documents, forms, or settings pages. Moving forward, please use the centralized Reminders page for creating and managing all your reminders.

We've simplified your email experience by bringing all emails into a single "Emails" page under the Marketing side navigation, removing separate tabs for "Email Templates" and "Email Sends." You can now easily create, manage, duplicate, and associate emails with forms, documents, or file requests—all from one centralized location. To learn more you can visit our help article here.

We've added a new optional 3% surcharging feature for firms using our Time & Billing functionality. You can now set a default preference on your Invoices settings page, and you'll also have the ability to enable or disable surcharging on a per-invoice basis.

We've improved the invoice forwarding process. Now, when an old invoice is forwarded to a new invoices, the outstanding balance is automatically moved to the new invoice, and all future transactions will be recorded on this new invoice rather than on previous invoices.

We've improved our round-robin scheduling feature to ensure appointments are distributed more evenly among your users, by selecting the user with the fewest scheduled appointments of that type. To learn more about how round-robin scheduling works, you can find our help article here.

We've added a new field to the "Change Attributes" automation action: "Default to non-billable time entries." This feature allows you to automatically default a matter's time entries as non-billable when using the Change Attributes action item, saving you time and ensuring accuracy in your billing processes.
