Lawmatics Mobile App

The Lawmatics mobile app gives you access to essential parts of your Lawmatics account from your phone. While the mobile app provides a more streamlined experience than the desktop version, it includes the core tools you need to stay connected to your firm on the go.

This article covers what you can do in the mobile app and how to navigate its main features.

Accessing the Mobile App

The Lawmatics mobile app is available for download from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Once installed, log in using the same credentials you use for the web version of Lawmatics.

Matters

The Matters section allows you to view all matters associated with your firm.

Within the Matters tab, you can:

  • View your complete list of matters

  • Search for specific matters

  • Open a matter to view its details

  • Review important information while away from your computer

Important matter details can be updated through the mobile app, including:

  • Case Title

  • Case Blurb/Case Description

  • Practice Area

  • Pipeline Stage

  • Matter Owner

  • Lead Attorney

  • Originating Attorney

  • Matter Salesperson (if enabled in Firm Settings)

Contacts

The Contacts tab provides access to your firm’s full contact list.

From this section, you can:

  • View your contacts and search for specific records

  • Create new contacts directly from your phone

  • Access key contact information whenever you need it

This makes it easy to add new leads or look up client details on the go.

Contact information that can be updated through the mobil app includes:

  • First Name, Last name

  • Company Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Address

Message Center

The mobile Message Center allows you to manage client communication from your device.

You can:

  • View SMS and portal messages your firm has received

  • Respond to messages directly from the app

  • Start new SMS or portal message threads

All messages sent and received in the app are synced with your Lawmatics account to ensure communication stays organized.

You can filter your messages by:

  • Date Range

  • Message Type

  • Read Status

  • Matter

  • Matter Status

  • User involved

Creating New Records

The Lawmatics mobile app allows you to create several types of records without needing to log in on your desktop.

You can create:

  • New contacts

  • New matters

  • New SMS messages

  • New portal messages

  • Quick Use Form Submissions

This ensures you can capture new information and client interactions whenever they happen.

Quick Use Forms

Your firm's Quick Use Forms are available through your mobile app:

Because these forms have the same capability as forms through the desktop, you can use Booking Requests to schedule appointments, LMPay Gateway to capture payments, and trigger automations based off of the forms being submitted.

Notifications

The mobile app supports push notifications to help you stay updated.

You can choose to receive notifications for:

  • New SMS messages

  • New portal messages

Notifications can be managed either in the app’s settings or from your device’s notification settings.

Note: The Lawmatics mobile app is designed to provide streamlined access to key functionality while you’re on the go. We’re actively working on expanding mobile capabilities and will continue adding features over time.
