Choose a monthly credit allowance based on your expected usage. If your Lawmatics subscription is on an annual contract, your AI Credits are also purchased annually.

If you exceed your included AI Credits in a month or year, overage charges apply on your next billing date.
When does it make sense to upgrade?
Each plan has a point where upgrading to the next tier is cheaper than paying overages.
Monthly upgrade crossover points
50 → 100 credits: Upgrade if you exceed 75.00 credits
100 → 200 credits: Upgrade if you exceed 150.00 credits
200 → 350 credits: Upgrade if you exceed 275.19 credits
350 → 500 credits: Upgrade if you exceed 425.00 credits
500 credits: Maximum plan; usage above this is billed at $1.50 per credit
These same crossover points apply to annual customers, since overages are billed monthly.
Examples
Example 1: Monthly plan overage
A firm on the 50-credit monthly plan uses 60 credits in a month.
Included credits: 50
Overage credits: 10
Overage rate: $4.00
Overage charge: 10 × $4.00 = $40.00
Total for the month:
$150 + $40 = $190.00
Example 2: Annual plan overage
An annual customer on the 2,400-credit plan uses 3,000 credits in one year.
Included credits : 2,400
Overage credits: 600
Overage rate: $2.66
Calculation: 600 × 2.66 = $1,596.00
Total for the year: $6,396.00
