OneDrive Integration
Lawmatics is pleased to integrate with OneDrive, helping to simplify your document and file storage. Thanks to this integration, any files that you have saved in Lawmatics can now be easily and automatically synced directly to OneDrive. No need for any manual downloading and re-uploading.
The first step to set up this integration is to navigate to your firm's settings page, gear icon near the top right corner, and then select Integrations near the bottom left corner. Note that this is an administrative setting, so only admin users will have access.
When you go to the OneDrive integration page you will be prompted to connect your OneDrive account. Once you have walked through those simple steps, you will see that your account is connected and that the sync has started, as shown below:
There are three main aspects to the Lawmatics/OneDrive integration:
- All contacts, companies, and matters from Lawmatics will be created as a folder in OneDrive, with all files from Lawmatics automatically in the appropriate folder
- Lawmatics and OneDrive files will sync both ways, staying up to date with continuous 2-way sync
- Users will also have the option to unsync a file from OneDrive
This seamless integration allows the two platforms to work together to make sure that critical folders and files stay up to date in both Lawmatics and OneDrive.
Each of your Lawmatics contacts, matters, and companies will appear in your OneDrive account as new folders. With our two way sync functionality, any file that is uploaded to either OneDrive or Lawmatics will automatically sync to both accounts.
For each particular contact, matter, and company, not only will a folder for that individual record be created in OneDrive, but you will also see your custom folders created within that record sync over as well.
By linking the two tools, Lawmatics offers a seamless experience that saves legal professionals from the tedious task of managing disparate software applications. With this integration, attorneys and their staff can efficiently store, manage, and share files between the two applications, streamlining their workflow and freeing up valuable time for higher-value tasks.
