Session Timeout for Inactivity
For improved security, users will now be automatically logged out of the app after 6 hours of inactivity. This helps protect sensitive information and ensures account access remains secure.
Fixes
When sending an online invoice (manually or via automation) with a 3% surcharge, the surcharge was not being applied until the payment method was toggled back and forth on the invoice. This issue has been resolved.
When sending a document for e-signature, all firm signer checkboxes appeared as checked on the client-facing version—even if they were initially left unchecked. This issue has been resolved.

Automation Quick Select Filters
All automation filters have been moved into quick-select dropdowns at the top of the page, making it easier to filter your automations by target type, automation type, and tags. This streamlined interface helps you quickly narrow down and manage your automations more efficiently.
Fixes
When editing a custom report, the filter dropdowns were partially hidden, requiring users to scroll in order to view and select filter criteria. This issue has been resolved.

Message Center Filtering by User
You can now filter the Message Center by matter user, allowing you to quickly view messages related to matters assigned to specific team members. This is especially helpful for users who want to focus on conversations relevant to their own caseload or monitor activity for particular team members.
Automation Folders
Automation folders are now available, allowing you to create custom folders to better organize your automations. This makes it easier to manage your workflows and quickly locate the automations you need.

Password Protected Forms
Lawmatics provides a "Password Protection" feature to help you securely share sensitive forms directly with your clients. When enabled, your clients must enter a password to access and complete the form, adding an extra layer of security to protect confidential information. To learn more click here.

Message Center Filtering by Matter Status
You can filter your message center by matter status, including all built-in and custom matter statuses as well as sub-statuses. When a status is selected, only messages tied to matters with that specific status or sub-status will appear, making it easier to prioritize communication based on where each matter stands in your workflow.

Fixes
Contacts syncing to Clio were being merged based only on name matches, without checking for matching email addresses. This caused separate contacts with the same name but different emails to be incorrectly merged. This issue has been resolved.
When contacts or matters were merged and had folders with duplicate names, the folders were being duplicated instead of merged together. This issue has been resolved.

Round Robin in Automations
We've expanded our round robin capabilities to help you distribute matters more evenly across your team. Previously available only on booking forms, round robin is now available within your automations, allowing you to automatically assign users to leads and matters, ensuring balanced assignment across your firm.
Fixes
Automations updating the OneDrive field to "True" were not properly triggering files to sync to OneDrive. This issue has been resolved.
Custom transaction reports were not correctly applying filters of "less than or equal to $0.01," resulting in inaccurate report data. This issue has been resolved.
Automated invoices sent via SMS were not appearing in the Message Center. This issue has been resolved.
